After the unremitting efforts of the ingenious team of Jinfangyuan, the first domestic automatic mobile assembly line for bending machines was officially put into operation at Jinfangyuan on September 12, 2019. This is a major breakthrough in the manufacturing method of China's sheet metal machine tool industry!
The transformation of the production line was inspired by the German TRUMPF Group, the parent company of Jiangsu Jinfangyuan, while the design and implementation of the automation line were all completed by the local team.
This assembly line realizes the true "machine movement, fixed personnel" (mobile and non-moving) assembly line, which is similar to the production method of automobiles.
The traditional machine assembly method is that the machine is fixed at the workstation, and workers of different types of work bring assembly tools and parts to and from different workstations to complete the assembly of various mechanical structures, driving devices, control systems and other components. This is appropriate in a small-scale production model.
Jin Fangyuan’s automatic mobile equipment production line takes into account both the efficiency required by mass production and the advantages of customized and flexible production of machine tools. Linear guide rails are laid in the workshop, and a moving trolley is installed on the guide rails. The machine tool is fixed on the trolley and moves slowly along the guide rails. Jin Fangyuan decomposes the assembly of the bending machine into several stations, and the workers at each station complete several assembly operations according to the assembly instructions. The machine tool stays at each station for 2 to 3 hours, completes the assembly, and then moves to the next station. Only the starting fixed position of the production line needs to be lifted when driving.
After the transformation, the assembly production efficiency of the bending machine is expected to increase by at least 25%, and the delivery time rate and product quality are greatly improved. This is mainly due to the realization of assembly workers' appointment and assignment, the division of labor has been refined, and the professionalism of workers has been strengthened. Workers' mistakes due to forgotten and missing tools and parts will also be significantly reduced. After the assembly line was put into production, the production layout and operating environment of the workshop were significantly optimized, eliminating the chaotic situation of logistics trolleys shuttled in the workshop during peak production, and also avoided the risk of cranes lifting equipment at different locations in the workshop.
In the new assembly line, the production bottleneck is clear at a glance. Managers and technicians can find and solve problems in time, and provide timely training and guidance to employees who cannot keep up with the pace.
Jiangsu Jinfangyuan will continue to optimize the production line so that users can obtain higher-quality bending machine products in a shorter time.
